Introduction to JWCS

Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. At John Wycliffe Christian School we understand that the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values established in primary school will influence the rest of a child’s life. A sound educational and spiritual foundation is the best investment for your child’s future and it will have long-lasting, even eternal, consequences.

JWCS is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school. In partnership with Christian parents, teachers strive to teach the children to know, to love and to serve Jesus Christ in the ordinary details of school life. School is where young minds are trained, and we believe that Christian schools are the key to raising a generation who have been “transformed, by the renewing of their minds ... able to test and approve God’s will.” (See Romans 12:1-2)

From its inception, the school has always been a multi-cultural body; a visible witness to God’s Kingdom which includes people from “every nation, tribe, people and tongue”. The school has been blessed to have had children from every continent, including many missionary families.
